  U.S. Department of Labor awards $125 million in third competition for President’s Community-Based Job Training Grants  
     
 
On March 11, 2008, The U.S. Department of Labor awarded $125 million to 69 community colleges and community-based institutions that competed successfully under the President’s Community-Based Job Training Grants Initiative.   Orrell to serve as Acting ETA Assistant Secretary  
     
  Brent R. Orrell has been named Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration. Orrell will serve as Acting Assistant Secretary while that post remains vacant. Click here for more information.
