Information for One-Stop and Rapid Response Representatives
As a national business partner, Toys "R" Us, Inc. contacted the US Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration's Business Relations Group to express their interest in connecting local store managers and employees to the services of One-Stop Career Centers.
Toys "R" Us is interested in having a One-Stop Career Center and/or Rapid Response representative contact their nearest Kids "R" Us and Imaginarium store to talk with store managers and offer printed information about One-Stop Career Center services to pass on to hourly employees. If possible, store managers may be interested in arranging information sessions about One-Stop Career Center services for employees.
While the majority of Kids "R" Us and Imaginarium locations are expected to close on or about January 31, 2004, a limited number of locations will be prior to and after January 31.We recommend that you check with your local store manager about their closing date. Approximately forty (40) Kids "R" Us locations will remain open through April 2004.

Store managers have received materials from Toys "R" Us corporate headquarters about One-Stop Career Center services for employees and are interested in assisting their dislocated workers in making the connection.
