Primary Purpose: Checking trucks and trailers entering and exiting the terminal yard
Essential Functions:
Verify driver code, truck, trailer and trip numbers before allowing/vehicle to exit from yard
Verify driver has L called load
Work with other Terminal ETC and Driver managers regarding any drivers special needs
Fuel and route Drivers if needed
Verify all vehicles coming into secured yard
Dispatch drivers as necessary
Assist Drivers at dispatch window
Answer phone calls
Coordinate any security issues with Security Department
Complete and distribute reporting to Terminal Manager and security department
Skills: Ability to communicate well with others, Computer knowledge preferred, Dispatching experience preferred, Must be dependable and prompt, Professional, Detail oriented
Education Required: High School Diploma or OED
Experience Required: Previous office experience
Supervision Received: Normal
Supervision of Others: None
