Swift Transportation

Log Auditor, Level I :

Department: Safety
 
Reports To: Log Audit Supervisor
 
Primary Purpose: To process, scan, and audit drivers daily logs for accuracy and hours of service violations.
 
Essential Functions:

    • Are to include but are not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned.
    • Receives, scans, and stores drivers logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
    • Audits drivers daily logs to ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier
    • Safety Regulations and identify non-compliant or falsified logs.
    • Audit drivers daily logs to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Assess the proper accountability for falsified, missing or non-compliant logs. . Corrects errors and or deficiencies found in log audit processes.
    • Researches and resolves disputes concerning noted log violations.
    • Prepares and submits log audit findings and makes recommendations to management.
Skills: Must be Detail Oriented, strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical, positive attitude and highly motivated.
 
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
