PY05 Older Youth Entered Employment Rate State Rankings

This map shows the Older Youth Entered Employment Rate State rankings for PY 2005. The rate ranges from a high of 100 percent in the District of Columbia to a low of 24.1 percent in the Virgin Islands. The ten highest and ten lowest states for this ranking are highlighted on the map. The ten highest states in order are the District of Columbia, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Puerto Rico, Michigan, Minnesota, Wyoming, Mississippi, and Montana. The ten lowest, from top to bottom, are Illinois, West Virginia, North Carolina, Hawaii, Alabama, Rhode Island, Nevada, New Mexico, New Hampshire, and the Virgin Islands.
