The Employment and Training Administration has received final approval from OMB for the following programs: the Workforce Investment Act Information Management System (OMB No. 1205-0420), the Labor Exchange Reporting System (OMB No. 1205-0240) for programs administered under the Wagner-Peyser Act and the Veterans Employment and Training Service, the Trade Adjustment Assistance Program (OMB No. 1205-0392), the National Farmworker Jobs Program (OMB No.1205-0425) the Indian and Native American Program (OMB No. 1205-0422) and the High Growth and Community-Based Job Training Grants (OMB 1205-0465).

These reporting systems have been modified, where appropriate, to include data elements necessary to assess grantee progress against a set of common performance measures, and to reflect changes in program services and reporting requirements resulting from Federal legislative actions (e.g., Jobs for Veterans Act, P.L. 107-288). These documents are the basis for reporting that began with PY 2005 for WIA, Labor Exchange, and the National Farmworker Jobs Program, FY 2006 for Trade Adjustment Assistance and the PY2008 High Growth and Community-Based Job Training Grants.

• On November 6, 2006, "a notice for public comment was published in the Federal Register," for 45 days, announcing the Employment and Training Administration's revised performance reporting system, the Workforce Investment Streamlined Performance Reporting (WISPR) System.
• In July, 2004, ETA published a proposal to streamline performance reporting for 12 programs, the ETA Management Information and Longitudinal Evaluation (EMILE) reporting system. Based on comments received, ETA made revisions to that proposal, and the revised system, WISPR, includes state formula-funded programs and National Emergency Grants.
