Referral Process

  1. Job seeker contacts a local One-Stop facility.
     
  2. A One Stop career counselor assesses candidate's interests against current Allstate job openings.
     
    1. High volume openings will be posted on the NBP site
    2. Job descriptions for specific open positions will be available on the NBP site
    3. A pre-screen form will be available for each position posted on the NBP site
    4. Other Allstate openings can be viewed on our web site at: http://www.allstatecareers.com/careers/jobsearch.asp

     
  3. If the career counselor believes the candidate has the minimum qualifications for an available Allstate job, the counselor completes the Allstate pre-screen form with the candidate. The pre-screen form is accessed through a link found at the bottom of the job description.
     
  4. If the candidate is referred to Allstate, the following information should be forwarded to the recruiter via email :
     
    1. Candidate's resume (preferred) by submitting or building it on Allstatecareers.com
    2. If candidate doesn't have a resume, a summary of work history should be completed (Work History Summary Template)
    3. Candidate's contact information
    4. Completed prescreen form
