Community College Initiative

Former U.S. President Bush announced a new $250 million initiative to enhance work force training programs at U.S. community colleges. Former President Bush visited Owens Community College in Toledo, Ohio and Mesa Community College in Phoenix recently to discuss the new initiative. The community college provides a local and flexible system for matching skilled workers to local employers.
