This map shows the Entered Employment Rate State rankings for the WIA Adult program in PY 2005. The rate ranges from a high of 90.2 percent in Arkansas to a low of 20.7 percent in the Virgin Islands. The ten highest and ten lowest states for this ranking are highlighted on the map. The ten highest states in order are Arkansas, Delaware, Maryland, Oregon, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Tennessee, Puerto Rico and Indiana. The ten lowest, from top to bottom, are South Dakota, Connecticut, Illinois, New York, Alaska, West Virginia, Utah, Alabama, Mississippi, and the Virgin Islands.
