PY05 Older Youth Employment Retention Rate State Rankings

This map shows the Older Youth Employment Retention Rate State rankings for PY 2005. The rate ranges from a high of 91.2 percent in the District of Columbia to a low of 36.2 percent in the Virgin Islands.  The ten highest and ten lowest states for this ranking are highlighted on the map.  The ten highest states in order are the District of Columbia, Arkansas, Puerto Rico, Iowa, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Montana, New Jersey, Maryland and Minnesota.  The ten lowest, from top to bottom, are Connecticut, Alabama, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Nevada, West Virginia, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York, and the Virgin Islands.
