Over 1.5 million women have been served by Workforce Investment Act programs in Program Years 2006-2008. The total for PY 2006 was 506,730. The total for PY 2007 was 549,865, and the total for PY 2008 was 603,489. For the three program years, the total served by the WIA Adult program was 1,055,781. The total served by the Dislocated Worker program was 411,163 for the same period. The Younger Youth program served a total of 138,617 in the three program years. A total of 54,523 women was served by the Older Youth program in the same period. |
