Jessica Hauki
As a 26 year-old unemployed single mother of three children, Jessica believed she had hit “rock bottom” when she lost her home, car, family support, and children. She faced the realization that drugs and alcohol could not solve her problems and immediately enrolled in a treatment program at a residential facility.
After her treatment, Jessica entered the ALU LIKE
One-Stop
Employment & Training Program seeking assistance for computer training at the Hawaii Technology Institute. Upon successful completion of this course, she entered a work experience training at ALU LIKE's Native Hawaiian Library Project as a full-time secretary.
Currently, Jessica is attending Honolulu Community College majoring in Human Services with future plans to attain her Master's Degree in Social Work. She is also the treasurer for a foundation dedicated to opening safe and sober housing for mothers in recovery and recently became a proud mother of a healthy baby girl.
