ADA and Technical Assistance Centers
The ADA and IT Technical Assistance Centers are regionally-based grantees of the US Department of Education whose mission is to provide technical assistance on requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and other disability laws and regulations. While Centers still use the term Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTACs) to refer to themselves generically, many have adopted a regional name that may include ADA or IT Center, or Technical Assistance Center . Regardless of the name, the core services provided are the same across the country. This web page on the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment & Training Administration’s Workforce3 One website disseminates promising practices to promote the positive employment outcomes of people with disabilities and expand the capacity of the One-Stop Career Center system to serve customers with disabilities. This site compiles information related to disability and employment in one location on Workforce3 One and along with the addition of a new “Disability” super search category will make it easier for users to find this information.

Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Employment Policy for Persons with Disabilities
The Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Employment Policy for Persons with Disabilities at Cornell University, is funded by the US Department of Education's National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. This Center increases the employment and economic self-sufficiency of people with disabilities and improves the quality of their lives by contributing to the success of the transition from caretaker policies to economic self-sufficiency policies.
