SUBJECT:    Solicitation for Grant Applications - Workforce Investment Act - Migrants and Seasonal Farmworkers Program -National Farmworker Jobs Program for Program Year 2007, SGA/DFA-PY-06-04

1.  Purpose.  To transmit a Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA) for operating the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP), for program year 2007, under section 167 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.

4.  Action:  Program administrators are requested to share this Information Alert with appropriate staff and other agencies. Eligible applicants, as defined in Part III of the Solicitation, are invited to submit an application on or before May 29, 2007 to the individual named in Part IV of the Solicitation.
