The Region 1 - Boston and Region 1 - New York Offices have been merged into
one unified region that serves the following areas: Connecticut,
Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey,
Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Vermont and the Virgin Islands.
We are now known as the Region 1 Regional Office.

DOL awards totaling $20 million for Youth Offender
U.S. Department of Labor announces awards totaling $20 million for Youth Offender Grants On November 1, 2007, U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao announced awards totaling $20 million to 16 organizations offering career training, alternative education and apprenticeships to youth and young adults who either have been adjudicated by or are at risk of facing the justice system.
