ETA REGIONAL INFORMATION ALERT NO. 114-09

SUBJECT:  Request for Comments – Pell Grants and the Payment of Unemployment Benefits to Individuals in Approved Training. OMB No. 1205-0473.

PROGRAMS: UI

1.  Purpose. To transmit a request for comment on a new Information Collection Request (ICR), which will be submitted to the Office of Management and Budget for review and approval, concerning the proposed extension, without change, of Pell grants and the payment of unemployment benefits to individuals in approved training.

2.  References. Federal Register, Vol. 74, No. 186, September 28, 2009, pp. 49401-49402; Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, 44 U.S.C. 3506 (c) (2) (A); American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
