Region 6 Means Business!

National Business Leadership Partnerships
Northwest Tennessee Workforce Board, Tennessee

PARTNER SITE: Northwest Georgia WIB

OVERVIEW:

NEEDS:

The Northwest Tennessee Workforce Board needs technical assistance in determining the most effective method(s) of packaging our services to local business in the service area. Presently name recognition is a challenge for most LWIAs in the state since we are co-located in some areas in the Career Centers. The transition from the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) has been difficult for some staff members. There is a need for internal marketing and staff development. Help is needed in determining a marketing budget and staff, also the function itself.
