Each award represents an effort to integrate two DOL priorities-the High Growth Job Training Initiative and ETA's New Strategic Vision for Youth. Awardees are expected to develop demonstration sites across the country that show that strategic partnerships can be formed between business, community colleges, the workforce investment system, and the juvenile justice system to help youth offenders enter high-growth/high-demand industries.
