SECTION M.3 - B. (5)(d) - EVALUATION CRITERIA- INDIVIDUAL STAFF EXPERIENCE is
amended to delete the last sentence in the paragraph "A resume focusing on
relevant experience relating to youth offender projects should be included for
each professional person assigned to the project."

service?

QUESTION 2
What is the dollar size of the contract? How many FTEs?
ANSWER (a) - Please refer to Section F.3. The professional person year is
between $95,000 and $100,000.

(a) How many applicants do you plan to screen each year.?
ANSWER - The health consultants would be responsible for screening
approximately 2,500 folders.
(b) How many regions and/or centers will require technical evaluation of
proposals and contracts?
ANSWER - This information is not available
(c) How many proposals and contracts did the current contractor evaluate last
year?
ANSWER - The current contractor did not keep account of the number of proposals
and contracts that were reviewed.
QUESTION 4
What do you mean by "handling Job Corps' difficult medical and mental health
cases and student deaths?" What type of assistance are you requesting in A1 & 2?
ANSWER - The Health Consultants, when the need arises, would provide technical
assistance to the centers. In the case of student deaths, they would provide
assistance in assuring that the all required procedures were followed by the
center staff, and provide whatever assistance the center needed, for example
identifying community resources that may help with crisis intervention. Also, the
health consultants may be called upon to provide technical assistance, when a
student becomes seriously or critically ill or injured.
QUESTION 5
How many training sessions will need to be completed that were planned by the
incumbent contractor?
ANSWER - The present contractor has planned three 'Disability Sensitivity
Trainings' to be held in San Diego, Houston, and Atlanta with approximately 120
participants at each session, and the 'Program Assessment Training' in which
they are responsible for providing logistical support.
QUESTION 6
Should the contractor develop a software program for Task 4-A that will provide
the required reports or does DOL have a data system.?
ANSWER - DOL does not have a data system. The system that is being utilized at
present was developed by the incumbent contractor.
QUESTION 7
How many special projects will you request per year?
ANSWER - Special projects would be determined as the need arises, for example,
pilot studies and workgroups. We have had two special projects for this year.
