ETA Proposes New Information Collection -- Unemployment Insurance Facilitation of Claimant Reemployment
The Employment and Training Administration is proposing a new information collection -- Unemployment Insurance Facilitation of Claimant Reemployment:

Number of Annual Responses: 212
Total Burden Hours: 2,120
Estimated Time Per Response: 10 Hours

ETA seeks Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to establish this data collection at the state level on the percentage of individuals who become reemployed in the calendar quarter subsequent to the quarter in which they received their first Unemployment Insurance (UI) payment. This data will be used to measure performance for the Department's Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 goal of facilitating the reemployment of UI claimants.

The December 9 FEDERAL REGISTER provides full background and describes the desired focus for public comment.
