What's New in Workforce Investment Archive: Headlines (2000)
This bipartisan legislation reauthorizes and amends the Senior Community Service Employment Program authorized under Title V. It also has several enhancements or reforms. First, a performance accountability system is established. Second, the Amendments also strengthen the linkage of SCSEP with the broader workforce investment system. Third, the Amendments improve States' ability to coordinate services to participants by enhancing the planning process relating to SCSEP programs.
