What's New in Workforce Investment Archive: Headlines (2001)
The Department's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) has announced in the July 30 FEDERAL REGISTER the availability of $3.5 million to award competitive grants to fund model demonstration programs designed to enhance the capacity of youth programs to serve youth with disabilities. Up to nine competitive grants will be awarded in the range of $350,000 to $500,000. These awards are for a two-year period of performance. All youth service applicants, other than 501(c)(4) entities,are eligible to apply. The closing date is August 29.
