HHS /ACF Announces FY 2002 Fund Availability: Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs

The Department of Health and Human Services/Administration for Children and Families has announced the opening of the application process for Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs. Any State, unit of local government, (and combination of such units) are eligible to apply for funding under the specific Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs. Any private nonprofit agency, organization or institution is also eligible to apply for these funds. Federally recognized Indian Tribes are eligible to apply for the specific Basic Center grants. Indian Tribes that are not federally recognized and urban Indian organizations are also eligible to apply for grants as private, nonprofit agencies. Faith-based organizations and small community-based organizations are eligible to apply for the specific Basic Center grants. Applications deadlines for the different programs are either May 3rd or May 10th.
