ETA is providing three templates that states can use to facilitate review and comment of the State Plans by the public. These may not be helpful to many states; states should only consider using these templates if they feel they will assist in their public review and comment process.
2007 State Plan Response Table for States Using Alternate Format for Stand-Alone Plans.
This template is for states that are not using the format (or subject outline) provided in the Stand-Alone Planning Guidance. These states can use this one-page template to identify the pages in their State Plan that address the subject areas identified in the Stand-Alone Planning Guidance. The template lists the eleven major sections provided in the Stand-Alone State Planning Guidance and provides a column for the state to provide the page numbers of the State Plan that address these subject areas.
2007 State Plan Modification Table for Stand-Alone Plans.
This one-page template lists the eleven major sections, and subsections, provided in Stand-Alone State Planning Guidance and provides space for recording the page numbers the of the State Plan that address these subject areas. The table also provides columns for recording (“yes” or “no”) whether this section or subsection of the new State Plan includes a revision of the current Plan.
ETA recognizes that this table may not have significant value to those States which have already highlighted the revised portions within their plan for the public. For other states which have not engaged in systematically identifying and summarizing the major revisions in the plan, this table may prove useful.
2007 State Plan Modification Table for Unified Plans.
A small number of States are developing a Unified State Plan in accordance with Section 501 of WIA. This one-page template lists the fifteen major sections provided in of the Unified Planning Guidance and provides space for recording the page numbers of the State Plan that address these subject areas. The table also provides columns for recording (“yes” or “no”) whether this section of the new State Plan includes a revision of the current Plan.
