Notice of Next ACA Meeting

The Secretary's ACA will meet on March 4-5, 2014

Washington, D.C. - The Secretary's Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship (ACA) will hold its next meeting on March 4-5, 2014. All ACA meetings are open to the public and will incorporate technology to allow for increased transparency and provide the public with an opportunity to participate in the ACA's proceedings.

The March 2014 meeting will focus on efforts to increase the number of youth apprenticeships, building from strength in the Construction Industry, and highlighting State School to Apprenticeship, CTE and Youth Apprenticeship Models.

Due to matters that have come before the ACA since the publication of the Federal Register notice (FRN), the meeting dates have been set for March 4 and 5, 2015. Notable updates since the FRN was published include: 1) there will be no ACA proceedings on March 3, 2014; and, 2) the meeting will take place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on March 5, 2014, instead of the Frances Perkins Building. All other meeting details are consistent with the notice.
