There have been reports of phone calls made from a Department of Labor phone number (202-693-2700) soliciting personal information and/or promising funds to those receiving the calls. These calls were not authorized by the Department of Labor. ETA and the Department of Labor do not and will not solicit Personally Identifiable Information, such as your Social Security number, or other personal information, over the phone. If you receive a call like this from a number that looks like an ETA phone number, consider it a spam call, hang up, and report the call to the US Department of Labor at 1-855-522-6748.

Technology-Based Learning Initiative

Technology-based learning can play a vital role in helping workers acquire the training they need to be successful in today's global economy and increasing our nation's economic competitiveness and growth. Therefore, the initiative seeks to increase the number of people trained in high-growth jobs through the broadening of opportunities for skill and competency development made available through the use of technology-based learning methodologies.

Technology-Based Learning Strategies Report - a report developed by Social Policy Research and Associates, Inc. that provides an overview of state of technology-based learning and the application of such in government, industry and education. The report includes a summary of recent trends in industry and media that have made technology-based learning a rapidly growing phenomenon.
