Secretary to Unveil "Youth Rules!" Program During May 22 Press Conference / Satellite Broadcast

U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao will hold a news conference at the Department of Labor with high school students on Wednesday, May 22, to unveil a new teen employment program called "Youth Rules!". Additional student reporters from around the country will join the press conference via conference call.

Secretary Chao will be joined by Tammy McCutchen, Wage and Hour Administrator and representatives from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Employment and Training Administrations (ETA) to discuss the Labor Department's new Youth Rules! program.

The Youth Rules! program aims to educate young workers, parents and employers about the resources and protections that exist to ensure teens have positive work experiences.
