The National Governors Association (NGA) Center for Best Practices with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services present the first in a series of webcasts on delivering employment and social services to low-income working families in a period of fiscal crisis. The webcast will explore how states and localities have used technology to conduct outreach and provide direct services to low-income workers.
Meeting participants will also discuss how public-private partnerships can be used to leverage new resources and connect low-income workers with existing community services in a period of fiscal crisis. Panelists include state officials and program directors.
Workforce professionals are invited to join the discussion online on May 13 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM (EST) at the NGA website.
